Fall 2008 Painting & Crafting Schedule

Brand New Tips, Tricks, and Techniques

During this class you will learns lots of brand new painting tips, tricks and techniques straight from the painting convention. Learn a new way to shade all the major painters are using, thought you knew how to basecoat, try a new look, last but not least, learn how to smoke a project. This class will be demo with some hands on. Bring basic supply list. A supply fee of $6.00 is to be paid to the instructor.

Man’s Best Friend

We will create 2 doggie themed projects, the first on a bone shaped wood basket lid (basket included), and also a matching ornament. This will make a great gift for the pet lover on your list. Bring basic supply list. Surfaces, paint, instructions will be provided. A supply fee of $15 is to be paid to the instructor.

Holiday Ornaments (Note classes spread out over 3 months)

During this class, students will create 4 all new ornaments perfect for the holidays. New things using music notes, laser cut designs and more. Bring basic supply list. Ornaments, paint, instructions, embellishments and more will be provided. A supply fee of $10.00 is to be paid to the instructor.

Fall into Autumn

Fall is one of the best designs for painting; all the colors make it fun. During this class we will paint a splendor of fall project. Bring any surface you have, suggestions include wood, slate, terra cotta pot etc… have it base coated in a light color. Instructions, paints will be provided. A supply fee of $3.00 is to be paid to the instructor.

Ice Fishing Penguins

Rodney has taken the Susan Kelley Ice Fishing project and added a new twist with a real thermometer. These penguins are adorable. Bring basic supply list. Please register early so we have time to order supplies. Surface, pattern pack, paint, & thermometers will be provided. A supply fee of $15 is to be paid to the instructor.

Saturday Holiday Painting Workshop    Special Event

During this all day workshop you will learn a new technique & create an adorable project. (One of the best I have ever done). Holiday Reflections

Based on an original Janice Miller design, we will paint a wood plaque with all the holiday reflections of years past which includes a bowl of gingerbread men, feather tree, and a basket of ornaments just to name a few. Great holiday project need to see to appreciate. Bring basic supply list. A supply fee of $15.00 is to be paid to the instructor.

Santa Skis

Learn how to take mini wooden skis and turn them into 4 unique Santa’s. Students should bring basic supply list. Skis, pattern pack, paints, embellishments will be provided. A supply fee of $10 is to be paid to the instructor.

Gingerbread men

During this 2 night class, you will paint 2 gingerbread men projects, The first is a 3 piece laser cut wood surface, and the other a wooden puzzle. Cute, easy and fun describes this class. Bring basic supply list. Surfaces, paint, instructions, patterns included. A supply fee of $10 is to be paid to the instructor.
